See, okay, a day later... unofficially consulting (more like perusing, really) Glamour magazine (for media class... seriously), TV... altho I forget... Oh! Sex and the City... and going through some Xangas (no Stephie, I will not give in)... & then listening to this couple in my building scream expletives to each other and their windows are wide open and they're doing the ugly yell and people downstairs outside are actually stopping to look up at all the hoopla... it's a classic lover's spat, college edition)... I've come to the realization that...

- i have a close, tight knit family who often jokes around with each other and makes funn of each other
- i have friends who, while we may have grown apart, still think of each other fondly & like to see each other whenever we can, and still have pictures of one another and memories of going trick or treating and getting hit on with some tootsie rolls and pretending that we were in that Next video (did we really know what they were singing about, by the way) and making cookies with too much salt (cough cough CHA cough)
- i'm getting my learn on in this incredible city with incredible views seen from the one hundreth stair on Lone Mountain
- i have a boyfriend who i've gone through hell and back with, and all i can say damn that was funn can we do it again? and look at my poker face ::giggles and waves excitedly::

My life isn't bad. Most of the time it's far from it. And if people can't handle it and my gushing about it... it's not my problem.

Heading downtown with the roommate tomorrow... & hopefully Guna will come visit. I wish I had more visitors. I also want to go to the beach this week... can't say I miss Vallejo when it's hitting the century mark while I'm sitting pretty in my mid-70s city.

My politics teacher sucks. Jamie Callum, especially his first two songs on his album, does not.
