In Monica and Chandler's wedding, the song when they kissed at the end was Foo Fighters' Everlong. How awesome was that to play in a string quartet. I'd totally have some rock love songs play at my wedding. I've been constantly making mental notes about what songs I'd like to have in the background of my reception (hey, I told you work was boring). So far, the list includes Barry White, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, 98 Degrees (except for one song... same reason why N Sync will not be played either)... that's why they're called mental notes, because you eventually forget them later. That didn't really make sense. But yeah... think about it. Weezer, Buddy Holly and Keep Fishin on violins... how awesome. Not Hash Pipe tho. Maybe for the Bachelorette party, cept I don't think they have string quartets there, do they?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHA. I thought I blogged yesterday. Did I? It's not showing up.

Happy cause tomorrow is Friday (which can only truly be embraced when you do the Mon-Fri 8-5 joh thing) and then the day after that is Saturday. Saturday, Michael's driving down here so we can watch The Terminal, have lunch, then possibly play mini golf if it's not too hot outside. Maybe we'll bring back some food for my parentals bc they're being kicked out of their kitchen this weekend.

Car broken. These boots are made for walkin, indeed.

I made veggie soup and now I'm waiting for my tummy to get less full so I can have a brownie with some ice cream. It's nice having a big fridge and being able to cook. Especially without my mother stirring the pot when my back is turned.

Hello hello. At my work, there is no work. I've played the "remember the fifty states" game three or four times now. I've forgotten Massachusetts, Missouri, Idaho, and Montana.

I miss Michael. This weekend, we watched my second cousin's dance recital (it made me long for dancing), & then we and the family ate @ Buca di Beppo's. Sunday, he brought me back to San Jose, but not without a stop in Union City for a Prelude meet. That day, we had boba twice, then we met up with some of our relatives for Macaroni Grill. We followed Roo home, then after the two of the knocked out for some naps, we went grocery shopping together and ate dinner while watching the season finale (tivo'd) of Gilmore Girls (again).

So... I can't say I'm happy here, but I can't say I hate it. I do hate being away from Michael so much. I saw him more when I was in San Francisco, which makes me feel better about not going to Santa Clara. And I just wish that I had stuff to do for my job. I really am running out of things, and I stare at things for hours at a time just to pass the time. For someone who works best under pressure, this job is not so nice. But it's all laid back, and I'm in this phase where work clothes equals jeans and play clothes equals pantoologs, skirts, and anything with short or no sleeves. And flip flops. I miss flip flops.

It's ok living with my sister tho. My parents woulda driven me nuts, as they do in the first hour of seeing them on weekends. We're getting our kitchen all prettied up this weekend.

Saved! was funny until the last part, when it got all sappy. "Who's down with G-O-D?". With my religious cynicism in place, that movie gave me some great laughs.

Yoga or kickboxing come September? I can't decide.

Runaway Bride is on now. Tivo, fast internet, and being able to cook are the definite pluses here...

But I miss Michael. He's so great when he's romantic. I hope he never lets me forget that. I love you.
